Message from Don Pier

GCSA,
I wanted to update everyone on some official appointments that the GCSA Board has made due to some vacant positions. Steve Charlton has agreed to be our VP1 and the GCSA Board approved this. This did happen the other month and I apologize for not getting out a formal notice on this. I’d also like to announce that Jim Bellaire has accepted the appointment of VP2 by the GCSA Board. These positions will be filled by Steve and Jim for the remaining softball year. At the end of this year, we will have our annual election for officers. I’d hope both of these gentlemen would consider staying on but fully support our process that allows anyone to be nominated for any position on the GCSA board.
Please thank Steve and Jim when you see them for stepping up and volunteering to be part of the GCSA Board.
All the best,
Don Pier
GCSA President

Volunteers needed for Bingo Concessions

Hello GCSA,
We need your help in volunteering a few hours of your time for Bingo Concessions. Although Tom Moersch is signed up, he had surgery and won’t be able to go Jan 8 and probably Feb 5. We need members to step up and pick one night to help out. We have 4 nights that we need to get volunteers for. It takes two people per night and if your spouse does not want to join you, please find another player to team up with. The directions are printed out and easy to follow. We’ll easily fill this up fast if each one of us just takes one night.
With great appreciation,
Don Pier
President
